January 08: Ganderbal police arrested a drug peddler in Waliyar Lar area and recovered 6 kilograms of Charas from his possession.

Acting on a specific tip-off, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Lar Inspector Nisar Hurrah accompanied by Naib-Tehsildar Lar Shri Farooq Ahmad raided a house at Chanthan Gulabpora on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmed Poswal. While searching the house 6 kilograms of Charas was recovered from the possession of accused person namely Naseer Ahmad Qureshi son of Abdul Aziz.
