Leh, January 16: On the directions of SSP Leh Miss Sargun Shukla -IPS, for a better traffic management and safety of the passengers, DySP Hq Leh Sh.Ishtyaq A Kacho-JKPS accompanied by SHO PS Leh Inspector Tsewang Dorjey and SI Mohd Abdullah conducted a meeting with the office bearers of Swaraj Mazda Union.It was impressed upon the participants that the drivers of matadors shall not overload their vehicles , shall stop their vehicles at designated stops only, shall not indulge in over speeding ,shall not allow any driver or passenger to smoke inside the vehicle ,shall not indulge in drunken driving, shall get all the vehicles checked with pollution checking centres and ensure that the environment is not polluted by smoke emission out of their vehicles and shall not create any inconvenience to the passengers and the commuters on road and any contravention , if found ,will attract strict challaning ,seizure and in case of subsequent offences ,the registration of vehicle will also be suspended through ARTO Leh . Moreover the officers also asked them to make the women special matadors more visible and more frequent for the convenience of the women passengers.The office bearers of the union also assured full cooperation to the officers. *District Police Leh committed to serve you better*
