JAMMU, FEBRUARY 06: Director General of Police Shri Dilbag Singh has condoled the death of Sh. Jamel Anjum Mir, Dy.SP PCR, Jammu who breathed his last this morning at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana. The DGP visited the residence of departed officer and expressed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul. The DGP assured the family that all possible help will be provided to the family.

Sh. Jameel Anjum Mir was appointed as Sub-Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police in the year 1989 and served in various positions. He was good swimmer and remained instrumental in conducting various State and National level sports events as Dy.SP Sports APHQ and PHQ. Sh. Jamel Anjum Mir was under treatment at DMC Ludhiana for last few days and left for heavenly abode last night.

Nimaz-E-Janaza of Late Jameel Anjum Mir was offered at Gujjar Nagar Grave yard and was laid to rest.


DGP has also condoled the demise of SgCt. Shri Vikas Malhotra who breathed his last today morning at Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Jammu. DGP has conveyed his sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
