Kishtwar, March 12: In order to reach out to the youths of District Kishtwar, Sh. Shakti Kumar Pathak, SSP Kishtwar today held a meeting in his office chamber in which about 40-45 youth leaders of various Political parties participated. Sh. Ayaz Ahmed, Dy. SP Hqrs. Kishtwar, Sh. Devinder Singh Bandral, Dy. SP (PC) Kishtwar were also present in the meeting.

During meeting interactions on various issues were held and SSP Kishtwar delivered an elaborate speech on peace, secularism and communal harmony and appealed the participants to disseminate the message of peace in every nook and corner of the District.

They were also requested to have close coordination with Police by providing specific information regarding activities of any anti-social element/trouble shooter or any criminal so that they could be dealt strictly under law. Further SSP Kishtwar urged the participants to constitute small committees who shall help Police in traffic regulation, putting a check on social evil of eve teasing in and around coaching/tuition centers and menace of drug addition in the District.

Among the prominent who attended the meeting including Ashish Sharma, DD Farooq, Firdous Ahmed Mingnoo, Rocky Goswami and other youth leaders shared their views and suggested various measures to strengthen bonding of love, peace and brotherhood among different communities.

The participants appreciated the role of District Police Kishtwar in organizing such a meeting. They also assured full cooperation to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood in the District.
