March 13: With an aim to interact with public and to build strong relations, Srinagar police organized a police public meeting at Police Station Soura. The meeting was chaired by SDPO Hazratbal Shri Rasheed Bhat. SHO Police Station Soura was also present on the occasion.

The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of Anchar Soura. The participants raised many issues including gambling, drug menace and other issues.

The participants were assured by the officers present on the occasion that their issues pertaining to police will be redressed shortly and other will be taken up with the concerned departments for their redressal.

The locals of the area hailed this gesture of police and assured cooperation in eradication of social evils.
