Kathua Apr 19: Acting sternly against liquor menace , Police team under the directions of today seized 112 bottles of country liquor and arrested two notorious bootleggers.

Meanwhile, Acting on a tipoff about two persons illegally carrying a consignment of country made liquor bottles from Bandhore to Sanjhi morh for selling it, Police team swung into action and apprehended both the bootleggers namely Rahul Kumar S/o Karam Chand and Omkar S/o Lekh raj both resident of Chann Arorrian tehsil hiranagar Kathua and seized 112 bottles in their illegal possession.

Police registered a case under relevant sections of the Law against both the accused and investigation taken up in both the cases.

Kathua Police is striving hard to contain drug and liquor menace and appeal people of the area to come forward and cooperate with Police for the cause.
