Jammu, June 7th : Kathua Police in an exemplary action averted ATM theft incident in Billawar town and saved bank money , apprehended one notorious thief.

Reports revealed that incident took place in the intervening night when a notorious thief namely Bhushan Kumar S/o Punnu Ram R/o Dhar Mahanpur Kathua attempted to break open the ATM machine installed in main market of Billawar town to loot the money. But alert team of Billawar Police SHO PS Billawar reacted instantly and arrested the accused.

Police registered a case FIR no 68/2019 u/s 380, 511 RPC against the accused and investigation set into motion to ascertain his involvement earlier such incidents not only in District Kathua but outside the district also.
