Attestation cum Passing out parade  of officers and Lady constables held at SKPA Udhampur   Advisors to Hon'ble Governor, DGP J&K extends congratulations to pass outs, their families and Academy

SRINAGAR, JUNE 11:  Attestation-cum-passing out Parade of probationary Dy. Superintendents of Police, Sub Inspectors/ Assistant Sub. Inspectors and constables was held at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur today.
 
 Advisor to Hon’ble Governor Shri K. Vijay Kumar was the chief guest and Advisor K.K Sharma was the guest of honour on the occasion.

Ex-legislators, Divisional  Commissioner, Jammu Sh Sanjeev Verma,retired and serving senior police officers,army and CAPF officers, parents of the trainees and civil society members were present on the occasion.

Chief guest Sh K Vijay Kumar took the salute at an impressive March past from the passing out trainee officers/ officials and conducted the inspection of the parade followed by the oath ceremony.

While addressing the parade, Advisor Kumar congratulated the trainees on their successful completion of the tough training. In his address, he praised the professionalism of the J&K Police and applauded the efforts put in by Director SKPA and his team of dedicated instructors for molding and shaping the trainees.
He also interacted with the pass out trainees and called upon them to display courage in the face of professional challenges. He extended his good wishes to all newly pass out trainees and expressed confidence that they will live up to the expectations of the organization and people.

 Advisor to Governor K K Sharma in his  address to the pass out trainees  said that the Governor’s Administration has taken many welfare initiatives for the police personnel and their families. He complimented the trainees who successfully completed the training and urged them to adopt people friendly attitude while performing their duties.
He exhorted upon the pass out trainees for showing dedication to duty and a high degree of integrity while discharging their duties.

Addressing the function, Director General of Police Shri Dilbag Singh thanked the guests for gracing the function. 
He extended hearty congratulations to the trainees and their parents and also complemented the staff of Academy for imparting professional training to the officers and lady constables.
He said the parade is unique in a sense that DySsP,PSIs,ASIs and constables are Passing out together. 
He said that the trainees have been imparted trainings on modern lines and they are ready to serve the society and the police organisation. He said that in view of the challenging situation being faced by the J&K Police on various fronts the trainees have been acquainted with the skills of crime detection prevention, weapon handling and counter insurgency operations.
 
 DGP said that probationary officers were also imparted training skills by the trainers of National Police Academy Hyderabad in order to instil   more skills in them. He hoped that the pass outs will exhibit highest degree of discipline and patience in the field while dealing with different situations. He appreciated the trainer staff for their efforts in shaping the probationary officers and recruits.
He complemented the officers and other staff of Academy for conducting the parade despite adverse weather.
 
Earlier, Director SKPA Udhampur Sh Suluiaman Salaria in his welcome address, gave a detailed resume of the training activities conducted during the training of the probationary officers and other trainees. He said that besides conventional training, emphasis was laid on training in the areas like counter insurgency operations, crime detection and investigation. 
 
He said that the DySsP  were sent for Bharat Dharshan tour as a part of their training to interact with their counter parts in other states of the country.
 
 In the passing out parade 16 probationary Dy. SsP of 12th batch, 13 SIs/ ASIs and 7th batch of 220 recruit women constables took a pledge for their selfless service to the nation. 
 
Among the probationary officers, Sh. Rohit Kumar was declared all round best (first in indoor and best marksman), Sh. Faizan Ali was declared 2nd all round best while as Sh. Himayun Muzamil was declared best in outdoor. Shri Jigmet Angchuk was declared best rider and best sports man.
 
Among PSIs, Birbhan Singh Charak was declared all round best, (best marks man and best in sports man) and Avtar Krishan was declared 2nd all round best, (best in indoor). Rakesh Bandral and Lalit Kumar were jointly declared best in outdoor while as Rakesh Bandral was declared best rider.
 
Among the women recruit Constables Ms. Mosmi was declared all round best, (best in both Indoor and outdoor) and was given one rank promotion. Ms. Yasmeen Akhter and Madhu Devi were declared 2nd and 3rd all round best trainees. Cash rewards were distributed among the best performers.
