Srinagar,  July 16: Police-Public meeting was held at Police Station khanyar today in which good number of respresentatives of different mohalla committees participated.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Khanyar Shri Farhan Jehanzeb-KPS and SHO khanyar Shri Parvaiz Ahmad.

The main aim of the meeting was to interact with the respectable citizens and associations of the area to seek cooperation in maintaining peace and public order in the area.

The Participants raised issues related to Drug menace,gambling, traffic congestion,encroachment, eve-teasing, market checking and other relevant issues.

Participants were assured of every possible effort by the police to address such issues.

The meeting ended with vote of thanks and on a good note.
