```July 20: As part of its public outreach programme, Baramulla Police under the auspices of Civic Action Programme organized a talent hunt event finale “Choona Hai Aasman” at Sherwani Hall Baramulla.

A large number of participants from different institutions of the district participated in the event. They were categorized in three age groups viz 05-12 years, 13-18 years and 19-25 years.

On the occasion, Dy. Commissioner of Baramulla was the chief guest. DIG NKR Baramulla, SSP Baramulla and other senior officers were also present at the event.

While addressing, DIG of Police NKR Baramulla pressed on civil society and teacher community particularly to act as responsible torch bearers of society and assured them complete support from District Police. SSP Baramulla also addressed on the occasion, appealed to maintain harmony and support their kids in extra - co curricular activities so that their energies are streamlined in positive direction and overall development results among the youth.

Mohd Mutaqi Bhat was winner for under category 5-12, Lateef Ah Sofi declared winner in age group 13-18 and Tawseef Ahmad Sofi in age group of 19-25.

At the conclusion, the winners were awarded with Rs 5000 cash while 2nd and 3rd positions were given Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 along with trophy respectively.```
