Srinagar July 21: Srinagar Police organised Police- Public meeting at Taqdeer Park with the residents of Dargah Hazratbal .

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Zakura Shri Musadiq Majid Basu-KPS along with SHO Police Station Nigeen Shri Riyaz Ahmad Khan,

The main aim of the meeting was aimed at reiterating the need to work together against social and other crimes.

The following issues were discussed in the meeting:

1) War against the drug abuse to continue.

2)To keep a check on the movement of the strangers with suspicious nature.

3)To keep a check on the activities of local shikarawalas and to report any suspicious movement.

4)To destroy voluntarily the bhung that has raised on the banks of Taqdeer Park.

5)To do joint patrolling in the area and identify mischief mongers.

The participants expressed their satisfaction the way police has been able to tie the noose on criminals.

The participants thanked police for professionally dealing the recent case of physical abuse of a minor girl and subsequent arrest of the accused.

The participants promised to work in tandem with police to bring the crime level to the bottom.

Meeting ended happily with a pledge to meet again with new hopes and to discuss achievements.
