Jammu August 1st : J&K Police in Jammu district recovered 4.1 Kg of Poppy straw from one Truck bearing registration No. PB02T-9565 at Manwal. Interstate drug peddler (driver of the vehicle) identified as, Gurpal Singh S/O Tufail Singh R/O Ajnala District Amritsar, Punjab has been arrested. Case FIR No. 96/2019 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Jhajjar Kotli and investigation initiated.
