DGP launches book titled “Chakarvyuh Ka Saatwaan Dwar”

The book authored by DIG Sujit Kumar is based on memoir of author’s fight against cancer


Jammu, November 08: Director General of Police, J&K Shri Dilbag Singh, IPS today launched a book titled “Chakarvyuh Ka Saatwaan Dwar” based on the memoir of the author’s fight against cancer written by Sh. Sujit Kumar, IPS Dy. Inspector General of Police, Udhampur Reasi Range in the august presence of Sh. A.K. Choudhary, IPS ADGP Coordination, PHQ, Sh. S.J.M. Gillani, ADGP Armed, Sh. A.G. Mir, IPS ADGP (Hqrs) PHQ, Sh. Mukesh Singh, IPS IGP Jammu, Sh. Danesh Rana IPS IGP Armed Jammu, Mrs. Charu Sinha IPS, IG CRPF, Jammu, Sh Surinder Kumar Gupta IPS, Director SSG and other senior officers at Police Headquarters, Jammu.

Releasing the book, DGP, J&K complimented the author at his earnest endeavour in writing the book and appreciated his fight against cancer without compromising his legitimate duty towards society.

The officer shared his personal experiences and recounted his battle with nostril cancer, wrestling with the debilitating effects of its initial symptoms, the diagnosis and ensuing treatment. These experiences, doubts and fears, were a prelude to a lengthy and arduous recovery.

“Chakarvyuh Ka Saatwaan Dwar" is a candid account that will find the reader cheering sometimes with tears, at every obstacle on his way to become the compassionate, energetic young man he is today. The champions in the story are friends, family members, teachers, hospital staff and counselors who patiently and lovingly supported him with debilitating diseases. Published by UNDERSTANDING INDIA PULICATION, DELHI, this book is for readers of all ages and it is a treatise for all those peoples who have lost hope and confidence in life.
