*December 02: ```Police in Kulgam launched a series of actions against bike lifters active in the area and arrested 01 accused individual involved in the crime.

Kulgam police received many complaints of bike thefts from Yaripora area of Kulgam. Acting on the complaints, Kulgam Police launched a series of actions against the bike lifters active in the area and managed to arrest one person involved in the crime.

The arrested individual has been identified as Dawood Ahmad Bhat resident of Mohanpora Kulgam. He has been shifted to police station Yaripora where he remains in custody.

When the officers spoke to him they learnt of his involvement in the offence of bike lifting and accordingly a stolen motorcycle was recovered for which Case FIR no. 28/2019 stands registered in Police station Yaripora.

Further while investigating the matter officers were able to recover four more stolen motorcycles. These bikes will be returned back to their rightful owners after following due legal formalities.
