Kishtwar' Dec. 07: Kishtwar police workedout a kidnapping case and recovered a minor kidnapped girl. On 19-09-2019 parents of the minor a girl (name withheld) lodged a complaint with Kishtwar police that their 15 years old minor girl was kidnapped by a youth in Karna Thakrie area.

As soon as the parents filed the complaint, Kishtwar Police took the cognizance and registered a FIR 245/2019 u/s 363/109 IPC at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
The Police under the supervision of the SSP Kishtwar, constituted various teams for searching the missing girl and finally the Police team lead by Dy. SP Hqrs and SHO Police Station Kishtwar Inspector Ajaz Wani recovered the girl from the vijaypur district Samba. The accused involved in kidnapping of the minor girl has been identified as Mohd Yousaf S/O Lal Din, R/o Kurna Thakrie, kishtwar who has been arrested by Police. The recovered minor girl handed over to her parents after completing legal formalities .
