*December 11:* ```The DIG CKR Srinagar Shri V.K.Birdi-IPS held a crime review meeting of District Police Srinagar at conference hall DPO Srinagar. SSP Srinagar Dr. M.Haseeb Mughal-JKPS, all City Zonal SsP, SP Hqrs Srinagar, DySP Hqrs and all SDPO's of Srinagar city participated in the meeting.

DIG CKR Srinagar held a thorough discussion regarding working of Srinagar Police an all fronts including Investigation, prosecution, Crime/Complaints disposal, L&O and other issues related to policing.

DIG CKR stressed on the synergy and better coordination among different units of Police for better results. He also stressed upon the officers not to compromise with the quality of investigation and directed the officers to have effective supervision of the matters dealt by police in their jurisdictional areas. He also appreciated the working of Srinagar Police on various front and emphasized on the officers to have deep concern for welfare of the force and general public as a whole.

SSP Srinagar stressed upon the officers to speed up the investigation of all the pending cases and reduce pendency. He stressed upon the officers to maintain proper discipline and follow proper SOP while dealing with any situation. He directed officers to prioritize the public delivery services including timely disposal of the verification, etc as well as timely completion of investigation of all the pending cases so as to facilitate the justice. He appreciated the role of Srinagar Police in dealing with L&O situation and control of crime in the District.```
