December 17: A Talent Hunt programme ‘Choona Hai Aasman’ was organized by Kulgam police today. The event is a part of initiative taken under Civic Action Programme and was held at DPL Kulgam.

SSP Kulgam Shri Gurinderpal Singh IPS was the chief guest on the occasion, besides senior officers of police and civil administration were also present at the event.

More than thirty contestants from different areas of District Kulgam participated in the event. The aim of the programme was to provide platform to aspiring contestants to showcase their talent and provide them opportunity to demonstrate their abilities so that they can be projected at regional and national levels.

SSP Kulgam in his address to the participants praised the contestants for their exemplary skills and talent, further he said that District Police Kulgam is committed to provide platform to talented people especially youth in various fields.

Mudasir Maqbool, Ulfat and Fatima Shahzad were winners in their respective age groups.

At the conclusion of programme the participants were awarded with cash prizes and trophies.
