January 01:* ```Police in Ganderbal arrested a terrorist associate who is linked to active terrorists of proscribed terror outfit LeT operating in the areas of District Ganderbal.

He has been identified as Rayees Ahmad Lone resident of Gund, Ganderbal.

As per the police records, he is involved in providing support to the active LeT terrorists operating in the area. Initial investigation reveals that the accused had supplied multiple SIM cards to terrorists affiliated with proscribed terror outfit LeT. As per police records he had also provided help and assistance to a Pakistani terrorist who was later killed in an encounter at Kullan Ganderbal in year 2019.

A Case FIR No. 69/2019 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Gund in the instant matter. Further investigation is in progress.```
