January 01:```SSP Awantipora along with Deputy Commissioner Pulwama today held an interactive meeting with the community members at Town Hall Awantipora.

Civil officers from the Revenue and Engineering departments were part of the interactive meeting. SDPO Awantipora, SHO Awantipora and I/C Police Post Reshipora were also present.

Community members from different villages including Reshipora, Panzgam, Khandaypora, Padgampora, Beighpora, Gulzarpora, Malangpora, Awantipora and other adjacent villages participated in the meeting.

During the interaction with the community members various issues of public importance were raised and discussed. Most of the issues were redressed on the spot.

Officers from civil administration apprised the participants about the progress in various developmental projects being executed in different villages.

Later, SSP Awantipora Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS held an interactive meet with the Officers and Jawans at Police Line Awantipora. DySP DAR Awantipora was also present on the occasion.

While interacting with the officers and Jawans, SSP Awantipora laid emphases on developing professional skills and to inculcate healthy life style. He stressed on them to strengthen bonds with public and work for the welfare of community members which will facilitate the public cooperation in policing activities.

During interaction, officers and Jawans of Police Line Awantipora put forth their grievances. SSP Awantipora addressed many grievances on spot and assured the Jawans that J&K Police is keen to implement welfare measures planned by the department.

Later Jawans thanked SSP Awantipora for organizing the meeting.```
