MHA implementing scheme ‘Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C)

Jammu, 7 February: Ministry of Home Affairs is implementing a scheme ‘Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C)’. The objective of scheme is setting up an effective apparatus to handle all issues related to cybercrime in the country. MHA is also developing and strengthening Eco-System against Cyber Crime at national level.



The scheme facilitates Victims/complainants to report all types of cybercrime complaints online. Complaints reported On National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal is dealt by respective police authorities of States/UTs based on the information provided by the complainants.



Under this scheme Cyber Crime awareness brochures on Financial fraud, Job fraud, Matrimonial fraud, and Safe use of social media platform have been prepared by MHA to create awareness among general public towards Cyber Crime. These brochures are available on National Cybercrime Reporting Portal www.cybercrime.gov.in.
