February 11: Continuing its fight against drug menace, Banihal police under the SSP Ramban Haseeb ul Rehman seized Charas and Fukki in Banihal area of Ramban District.

Following a special information, a Naka was laid at bus stand Banihal and during checking one person identified as Mohd Dilawar son of Mohd Saleem Gujjar a resident of Sadra Jammu was arrested with 300gm Charas were recovered on his instance.

Meanwhile, Banihal police during another action recovered 100kg of Fukki at Cholori Nallah, Jawahar Tunnel from a Punjab bound truck bearing registration number PBO2CC -7060 driven by Gurdev singh son of Sham Singh a resident of Thera Rajput Tehsil Ajanallah Distt Amritsar Punjab.
Recovery was made of IC PP JAWAHR TUNNEL Waseem Mehraj and Sho banihal Abid Bukhari under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Sajad Sarwar.

Two separate cases have been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up
