Jammu, February 18: Director General of Police J&K, Shri Dilbag Singh has ordered promotion of 49 Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Inspectors. These officers of Executive Police have been promoted under PHQ order Number 636 of 2020.

The promotions were cleared by the Departmental Promotion Committee which met at Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of DGP on February 13, 2020.

The DGP J&K has congratulated the promoted officers and their families and has stressed upon them to rededicate themselves for public service with more zeal and dedication.

Those who have been promoted include Ranjeet Singh, Mohd Ashraf, Owais Gani Dar, Sunil Singh, Zahoor Ahmad Wani, Ab Rashid Khan, Zaheer Mushtaq, Sarafraz Ahmad Dar, Aijaz Ahmad Parray, Ali Imran Bhat, Aijaz Ahmad, Mudasir Ahmad, Showkat Ahmad Khan, Mehraj Ahmad Pader, Shariq Majeed, Ashwani Kumar, Pawan Singh Randwal, Javid ahmad dar, Khayati Man Khajuria, Afaq Ahmad Naik, Pankaj Singh, Vishal Kumar, Vishav Partap Singh Katoch, Mir Sajad Bashir, Yasir Rashid Bhat, Firdoos Ahmad, Ajaz Perwaiz, Sohan Singh, Khalid Karim Zargar, Abdul Rashid Sofi, Arun Sharma, Yasar Mehmood, Mohan Lal, Tariq Hassan, Manzoor Ahmad Ganiee, Malikzada Towfeeq, Qawiser Bashir, Mohd Iqbal Sheikh, Ajay Kumar Engotra, Ab Manan Malik, Ravi Kumar, Majid Hassan Khan, Anil Choudhary, Abdul Rahman Khan, Habib Ul Rehman Khan, Atthar Ahmad Shah, Verinder Singh, Ruzaid Yaseen Kachroo and Naseer Mahmood Naik.
