Srinagar, March 04: A Police-Public meeting was conducted at *Police Station Sherghari*, with the heads of transport companies operating with in the area of Shergadi.

The meeting was chaired by the SDPO Shaheed Gunj Shri Shahjhan Choudhary-JKPS along with SHO Police Station Sherghari Shri Ms.Taunshree-IPS(Prob)

During the meeting, various ways to improve police-public relations were discussed. Participants were sensitised about their role as a helping hand to police. All of them appreciated the role of police in community policing.

Since tourist flow is going to increase in coming days, participants were asked to avoid parking their vehicles along the road side so that traffic mess could be avoided. At the same time they were asked to remain extra vigilant against the miscreants.

The meeting ended on a good note.
