*March 04:* ```Continuing with its public outreach programme, Srinagar police held an interactive meeting at Police Station Sherghari. The meeting was chaired by SDPO Shaheed Gunj alongwith SHO Police Station Sherghari.

The meeting was attended by the heads of transport companies operating in the area of Sherghari. During the meeting, various ways to improve police-public relations were discussed with the participants. The participants raised various issues peraining to the area.

The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine issues pertaining to police will be redressed on priority. The charing officers stressed upon the participants that tourist flow is now going to increase in the coming days and they must cooperate with the Police so as to facilitate the smooth movement of traffic in the area & to minimise traffic congestion.

These meetings are organized to facilitate interaction with community members and redress their grievances so as to create cordial police-public relationship.

The participants hailed the efforts of police in facilitating interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely. The participants thanked & assured full cooperation to curb the social evils in the area.```
