Handwara, March 10: On the directions of SP Handwara *Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS,* today a PCPG meeting was held at Police Station *Handwara* in which number of respectable citizens including Sarpanches ,Panches, Numberdars ,Chokidars, other respectable persons of the area participated in the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Handwara *Shri Tariq Mehmood-JKPS* besides SHO Police Station Handwara *Inspector Parvaiz Ahmad* and Incharge Police Post Magam were also present in the meeting.

The participants raised issues regarding water crisis,shortage of electricity, repairement of canal, illegal use and supply of drugs which they are facing in their day to day life.

The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the Police Public relationship and also to aware participants about social evils. The participants were also briefed about the precautionary measures of Corono virus (COVID-19).

At the end of meeting all participants were thanked for sparing their valuable time and were assured that the issues pertaining to Police will be redressed on priority basis and the other issues will be taken up to concerned departments.

Further participants have been exhorted to remain away from drugs and co-operate with police in sharing all informations related to social evils so that curative steps can be initiated.
