*March 11:* ```As a part of its public reach out programme PCPG meetings cum awareness programmes on Coronavirus were facilitated at Kralgund, Chogal and Langate areas of Handwara.

The interaction meetings were attended by respectable citizens including Doctors, Sarpanches, Panches, Numberdars, Chokidars and other civil society members of the areas.

In Police Post Chogal, the meeting was chaired by SP Handwara Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS and in Police Station Kralgund the meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Kralgund Shri Iftikar Ahmad while in Police Post Langate the meeting was chaired by Incharge Police Post Langate Shri Irshad Ahmad.

During the meetings, the participants raised various issues regarding water crisis, shortage of electricity, repairing of of roads, non availability of quality medicines, special recruitment for youth of the area in Police department and other social issues.

In the meetings, Experts from Health Department were also invited to sensitize the participants about the necessary precautionary measures to protect themselves and their families from Coronavirus.

The aim of the meetings was to strengthen the Police Public relationship and also spread awareness about Coronavirus.

The participants in all the meetings assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely.```
