*March 12:* ```Continuing its drive against social evils, Srinagar Police have arrested six gamblers from a gambling site.

Following an input about gambling activities in Chandpora area of Harwan a police party led by Shri Mir Hafeezullah, SHO Police Station Harwan raided a gambling site and apprehended six gamblers on spot. They have been arrested and shifted to Police Station Harwan where they remain in custody.

Officers have also seized playing cards and stake money of ₹8,500 from the gamblers.

Case FIR No.13/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Harwan and further investigation into the matter has been initiated.

Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall be dealt as per law. General Public has applauded this act of Police. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with the local police units.```
