*April 06:* ```Srinagar Police have arrested 04 gamblers from Khayam area of Srinagar, stake money and playing cards have also been recovered.

A police party from Police Station Khanyar raided a gambling site following an input about gambling activities and apprehended four gamblers identified as Aqib Mustaq Pampori resident of Khayam, Manzoor Ahmad lone resident of Palhalan Pattan, Liyaqat Javaid Dar resident of Muniwarabad and Asif Ali Reshi resident of Barbarshah for gambling offences.

Officers have seized playing cards and stake amount of ₹9,630/- from the gamblers.

Case FIR No. 18/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Khanyar.

Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighborhood with the local police units.```
