*April 07:* ```Sopore Police have arrested 05 gamblers from Tarzoo area, stake money and playing cards have also been recovered.

A police party from Police Station Tarzoo raided a gambling site following an input about gambling activities and apprehended five gamblers identified as Hilal Ahmad Sofi & Mohammad Yousuf Bhat both resident of Aalibagh Tarzoo, Ab Hamid Hajam & Ab Qayoom Sheikh both residents of Astan Mohalla Tarzoo and Zahoor Ahmad Bhat resident of Izatshah Colony Tarzoo for gambling offences.

Officers have seized playing cards and stake amount of ₹20,750/- from the gamblers.

Case FIR No. 28/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Tarzoo.

Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighborhood with the local police units.```
