DIG CKR Shri Suleman Chaudhary visited District Ganderbal to review security scenario, implementation of lockdown, and other preventive measures against COVID-19 taken by Police Ganderbal. SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal briefed the DIG about the arrangements made amid COVID-19 viz, lockdown cut offs, protection at Administrative Quarantine Centres & Hospitals, medical surveillance teams and sealing of red zones.

IC Police Post Gadidarh distributed dry ration among 75 needy families. During ration distribution social social distancing was also ensured.

Police party from Police Station Sogam headed by SHO PS Sogam in collaboration with NGO Goonj reached out to the needy people of Doonivari, Wavoora, Gangbuk, Sogam, Gundmacher, and Doorsu areas of PS Sogam and distributed food and eatables among needy especially non local labourers.

Srinagar Police arrested 17 persons in the Jurisdiction of Police Station Sadder for defying the Govt restriction orders over COVID-19.

SDPO R. S. Pura and SHO Arnia yesterday evening distributed dry ration among 80 needy families in Arnia Town at door step especially to stranded labourers under campaign "we care for you".
