*May 16:* ```Today at about 1720hrs terrorists fired indiscriminately upon joint naka party of Police & CRPF deployed at Main chowk Fressil in Yaripora area of Kulgam.

In the terror incident, one Police personnel identified as Head Constable Mohammad Amin Bagat sustained grievous gunshot injuries who later on succumbed to his injuries and attained martyrdom.

Police has registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard. Investigation is in progress. Area has been cordoned and search in the area is going on to nab the terrorists.```
