*May 19:* ```Acting tough against the violators of Government orders, Police have arrested 04 persons and seized 02 vehicles for defying the Govt orders in Kulgam.

In the jurisdiction of PS Qazigund, Police have arrested 03 persons and seized a vehicle for defying the Govt orders. Accordingly, cases vide FIR numbers 143/2020 and 144/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Qazigund and further investigation into the case has been initiated.

Similarly in the jurisdiction of PS Kulgam 01 person has been arrested and a vehicle was also seized for violating the prohibitory orders imposed by Government. Case FIR No. 89/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kulgam and further investigation into the case has been initiated.

Police have once again requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and those who are violating the restriction orders will be dealt strictly.```
