May 21:Today at about 1445hrs terrorists fired indiscriminately upon joint naka party of police and security forces at Prischoo area of district Pulwama.

In the terror incident, two Police personnel sustained grievous gunshot injuries and were evacuated to nearby hospital for the treatment of their injuries. However, one injured identified as Anoop Singh of IRP 10th Bn succumbed to his injuries and attained martyrdom.

Police has registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard. Investigation is in progress. Area has been cordoned and search in the area is going on to nab the terrorists.```
