May 28:``Acting tough against the violators of Govt. prohibitory orders, Srinagar Police have arrested 03 shopkeepers for defying the restrictions imposed in view of Covid-19.

Srinagar Police have booked three shopkeepers identified as Mohd Rafiq Raina resident of Guoshan Bagh Lalbazar, Mushtaq Ahmad Qasid resident of Madeen Sahab Hawal and Mohd Suhaib resident of Firdous Cenima Hawal for violating lockdown orders in the jurisdiction of PS Lalbazar.

Accordingly, Cases under relevant section of law have been registered at Police Station Lalbazar and further investigation into the cases have been initiated.


Srinagar Police have once again requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and those who are violating the restrictions will be dealt strictly.```
