Srinagar Police solves theft case, accused arrested

June 20:`Police in Srinagar solved a theft case reported to Police Station Parimpora and have arrested one accused person involved in the commission of crime. Stolen cash has also been recovered.

On 17th June 2020, PS Parimpora received a written complaint from Zahoor Ahmad Sofi stating that some unknown persons have entered into his shop at Fruit Mandi Parimpora and stole Rs. 90,000/- from the drawer of the shop.

Accordingly, Case FIR No. 108/2020 under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Parimpora and investigation was initiated.

During the course of investigation, both technical and physical evidences were collected and after proper analysis/investigations, accused Javid Ahmad Shiekh son of Mohd Munawar Shiekh resident of Fruit Mandi Mustafabad Parimpora was identified and arrested.

During further investigation PS Parimpora, recovered stolen cash of ₹65000 on his disclosure.
