*June 25:* ```As a part of public outreach programme, Police public interaction meetings cum awareness programmes on Coronavirus were held at Police Station Khrew, Police Station Tral and Police Station Awantipora.

At Pampore, the meeting was chaired by the SDPO Pampore along with SHO Khrew at Police Station Khrew. The meeting at Police Station Tral was chaired by SDPO Tral and at Police Station Awantipora the meeting was chaired by SDPO Awantipora along with SHO Awantipora.

While following social distancing norms and other protocols, these interaction meetings were attended by respectable citizens and other civil society members of Khrew, Tral and Awantipora areas.

The main aim of these meetings was to seek cooperation from the general public in adherence of the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by the District Administration from time to time for the prevention of COVID-19 while dealing with their day to day activities.

In these meetings, the cooperation was sort from the participants regarding the restrictions imposed in view of COVID-19 and eradication of other social crimes from the areas. The participants were made aware about the necessary precautionary measures to protect themselves and their families from Coronavirus.

The participants in these meetings assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely.```
