June 25:``As a part of public outreach programme, Police public interaction meeting was held at Police Post Zachaldara besides, Bandipora Police facilitates Police-youth interaction meetings across the district.

In Handwara, the meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Handwara and was attended by respectable citizens and other civil society members of the area.

In Bandipora, Police-youth interaction meetings were conducted across the district viz Bandipora town, Pethkoot, Gurez, Sumlar and Nowgam areas.

The main aim of PCPG meeting was to seek cooperation from the general public in adherence of the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by the District Administration from time to time for the prevention of COVID-19 while dealing with their day to day activities.

Besides, in Bandipora all the participants were motivated and counselled to be proactive in sports, talent hunt, creativity, career counselling and to act as catalysts of social change.

The participants in these meetings assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely.```
