International anti drug and illicit trafficking day observed at Youth Development and Rehabilitation Centre


June 30:`On the eve of International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking, a programme was organized at Youth Development and Rehabilitation centre Eidgrah Grid road Srinagar in collaboration with Govt Degree College Pampore.

On the occasion, Director Youth Development and Rehabilitation Centre Dr Muzafer presented a welcome address and highlighted the role of police drug de-addiction Centre to keep the society free from the curse of drugs. 30 NSS volunteers of Govt Degree College Pampore participated in the programme along with staff and NSS Coordinator Professor Mehbooba.

The NSS volunteers were from different areas of Kashmir especially Pampore, Pulwama and Nowgam Srinagar. They highly appreciated the programme and felt empowered. They also requested for continuation of such activities in future.

The NSS coordinator professor Mehbooba concluded the programme and requested for conducting such programs across all Degree Colleges & thanked the DIG CKR Srinagar for holding such events.

At last Ms Uzma presented the vote of thanks to the DIG CKR Sriangar, Principal Govt Degree College Pampore, Participants and their staff along with staff of Youth development Centre for supporting the programme.```
