Sopore, 15 August:Independence Day 2020 was celebrated in Police District Sopore *(with due precautionary measure of COVID-19)* with great fervor wherein tricolor was unfurled at each Police Station/ Police establishment and main function was held at Khushal Stadium Sopore in which BDC Chairperson Farida Khan, as chief guest unfurled the National Flag and inspected the parade.

SSP Sopore Shri. Javaid Iqbal-JKPS ADC Sopore Shri. Parvaiz Ahmad and DySP DAR DPL Sopore Shri. Ghulam Mohiudin besides other senior officers of civil administration/ Police Department were present on the occasion.

The parade was commanded by DySp PC Wadura Shri. Sunil Singh-JKPS.
Contingent of CRPF, District Police Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police & Home Guard.
