DGP J&K sanctions special welfare relief of Rs.1.60 crore for NoKs of deceased police personnel.   Rs.23.64 crore Special Welfare Relief sanctioned during this year


SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 03: For the Police personnel who served the Jammu and Kashmir Police organization and gave supreme sacrifice of their lives for the nation or died in harness Police Headquarters has from time to time taken many welfare measures to provide a helping hand to their families.
 
Continuing with these welfare efforts and to provide assistance to their families in need Shri Dilbag Singh, Director General of Police, J&K has sanctioned Special Welfare Relief of Rs.1.60 crore in favour of dependents / legal heirs of such 12 officers/officials.
 
 Rupees 20 lakh each has been sanctioned in favour of NoKs/legal heirs of SI Mohd. Ramzan, ASI Gh. Nabi Sheikh, ASI Mohd. Ramzan, ASI Abdul Rashid, ASI Nazir Ahmad Sofi, ASI Gh. Mohd., HC Ab. Majeed, HC Zanood Hussain, HC Bilal Ahmad, HC Suresh Kumar, SgCt. Gagan Singh and SgCt. Asif Iqbal Ahmad  under different PHQ orders.
 
          This Special Welfare Relief has been sanctioned for the legal heirs of police personnel/NoKs out of Contributory Police Welfare Fund.
 
            Pertinent to mention here that during this year Rs.23.64 crore Special Welfare Relief  has been sanctioned for legal heirs of 119 Police Personnel.
