*October 04:* ```Acting tough against social crimes, Kulgam Police have arrested 3 gamblers from a gambling site and seized stake money.

A police party from Police Station Devsar raided a gambling site at Zangalpora following an input about gambling activities and apprehended three gamblers. They have been identified as Arif Amin Beigh resident of Khrewan Malpora, Mohd Iqbal Mir and Yawar Ahmad Sheikh both residents of Zangalpora.

Officers have seized playing cards and stake money of ₹9300/- from the gamblers. They have been shifted to Police Station Devsar where they remain in custody.

Accordingly, a case FIR No. 105/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Devsar and investigation has been initiated.

Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall be dealt as per law. Community members are requested to share information regarding the crimes in their neighbourhood with the local police units.```
