Kulgam Police facilitates PCPG meeting


November 23:As a part of public outreach programme, Police public interaction meeting was facilitated by Kulgam Police at Police Station Behibagh, while following social distancing norms and other protocols.

The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Behibagh. The meeting was attended by large number of respectables of various areas falling within jurisdiction of Police Station Behibagh.

During the meeting, the participants raised various issues including, electricity shortage, water supply problems, road and transportation related problems etc. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.

Participants were requested to cooperate with police in eradicating social evils especially the drug menace and in prevention of peace and prosperity of the area so that nefarious designs of anti-social and anti-national elements will be defeated.

The participants assured their full cooperation to Police and appreciated the impartial role of Police in the execution of law and hailed the visible change in the behaviour, conduct, etiquette of Policemen towards general public. The participants also appreciated the efforts of Police for facilitating such meetings where participants express their views freely and urged that such kind of interactive meetings to plug the gap between public and police will be organized in future too.```
