February 11:As a part of public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Sopore Police at Naidhal Rafiabad while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
The meeting was chaired by SDPO Rafiabad Shri Nissar Ahmad-JKPS and SHO Police Station Panzla. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens, traders, Masjid committee, Sumo association members, Panchs and Sarpanchs of the area.
During the meeting, the participants raised various issues about drinking water, electricity, maintenance of roads, drains etc. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
While speaking on the occasion, SDPO Rafiabad said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestions and reach out to the grievances faced by the general public for their early redressal. He also sought cooperation of people in sharing the information and identifying the drug peddlers & other miscreants so that a peaceful environment can be created. He thanked the people for participating in the meeting and providing valuable suggestions.
The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils. Participants hailed the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely.```
