April 30:`Budgam police hosted a simple but impressive farewell function at District Police Lines Budgam to bid adieu to the officer/officials who superannuated from their active services.

SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS and other senior officers participated in the function. The superannuated officer/officials include ASI Ab. Gani, HC Syed Nisar Ahmad and HC Mohammad Shaban.

SSP Budgam appreciated the retiring personnel for rendering their best services in the department. He also complemented them for maintaining unblemished record.

On the occasion, other senior officers of District Budgam described them as honest, sincere and dedicated personnel who gave least priority to their personal interest before the services. While acknowledging the contribution of the outgoing officers, SSP Budgam conveyed his best wishes to the retiring officers and prayed for their good health and success post retirement.

The superannuated officers also spoke on the occasion and expressed gratitude towards overwhelming response of higher officers towards their roles in the department. They also said that even after retirement they will continue to work for needy people of the society.```
