KATHUA POLICE FOILED BOVINE SMUGGLING BID; 04 BOVINES RESCUED; 01 VEHICLE SEIZED


KATHUA, 19 JUNE: In its endeavours and commitment to contain the activities of Bovine smuggling in the district, under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh.RC Kotwal -JKPS district police today foiled Bovine smuggling attempt near Hatli Morh rescued 04 Bovines, 02 persons arrested and seized the vehicle involved.*

*On 19.06.2021 police team led by Insp.Yash Pal Sharma IC PP Hatli under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kathua Sh. Shammi Kumar -JKPS during routine naka checking duty at Hatli Morh noticed one suspicious Mahindra vehicle bearing Reg. No. PB08BZ-9096 being driven by a person namely Talib Hussain S/O Alam Din who was accompanied by his accomplice namely Mohd. Hanif S/o Abdullah both R/o Rakh Sarkar, Hiranagar were signalled to stop for checking.During checking of aforesaid vehicle, 04 Bovines were found loaded in it illegally. Meanwhile vehicle was seized, 02 accused arrested and 04 bovines were rescued.By taking this cognizance case FIR No. 298/2021 U/S 188/IPC, 11PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Kathua and further investigation has been set into motion accordingly.*
