Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh R C Kotwal-JKPS succeeded in tracing out 04 missing persons within the district who were immediately handed over to their legal heirs.

*On 23-01-2019, a missing report was lodged at P/S Billawar by the one of the family member of person, stating therein that their son namely Ramesh Singh S/o Des Raj R/o Dhanu Parole Tehsil Billawar Distrcit Kathua had gone missing from his home since for which they lodged a missing report in concerned Police Station vide DDR No. 12 dated 23.01.2019.Whereas all efforts have been made by the family members but the whereabouts could not be ascertained.Acting instantly on the missing report, the search was started and police team of P/S Billawar traced out the said person vide DDR No. 04 dated 11-06_2021. In addition to this another missing report was lodged at this Police Station wrt lady namely Shivali Devi W/o Ravinder Singh R/o Hottar who went missing vide DD No. 12 dated 31.05.2021 has been traced out on 12.06.2021 vide DD No 04 and both were immediately handed over to their legal heirs after completing all legal formalities.*

*In another incidents two more missing reports of P/S Kathua wrt ladies namely Pooja Andotra D/o Jainder Singh R/o Ward No. 08 Nagri Parole District Kathua was entered in the PP Nagri vide DDR No. 05 dated 27.03.2021 has been traced out and closed on 14.06.2021 vide DDR No. 16 and another missing lady namely Rakia W/o Manzoor R/o Kamla katyar Tehsil kathua vide DDR No. 32 dtd. 08.01.2020 has been traced out and her missing report was closed on 18.06.2021 vide DDR No. 09. Thereafter all the said missing persons were immediately handed over to their legal heirs after completing all legal formalities.*
