KATHUA, 25 JULY : In continuation to its preventive measures within the district, Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. R C Kotwal- JKPS, today traced 01 missing person, seized 02 dumpers indulged in illegal mining and challaned 35 more people who violated the government order.
KATHUA POLICE TRACED OUT 01 PERSON AND REUNITES HIM WITH FAMILY MEMBERS.
Police in Kathua have traced out one missing person who was missing since 19.03.2021 and reunited him with his family members.
On 19.03.2021, a missing report was lodged at P/S Hiranagar by one of the family member of person stating therein that his son namely Abhishek Khajuria S/o Chaman Lal R/o Dhamyal, Hiranagar District Kathua is missing. Accordingly a missing report was lodged at P/S Hiranagar vide DDR No. 16 dated 19.03.2021 and search was started to trace him.Acting instantly on the missing report, person was traced out vide DDR No. 14 Dated 24.07.2021 and immediately handed over to his legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
02 DUMPERS INDULGED IN ILLEGAL MINING SEIZED.
Acting tough against the illegal mining in the area, A Police team of PP Nagri led by IC PP Nagri in its jurisdictional area found 02 dumpers indulged in illegal mining which were being used for illegal transportation of construction material. Meanwhile both the dumpers were seized and were immediately handed over to the officials of the mining department kathua for further legal course of action.
KATHUA POLICE CHALLANED 35 PEOPLE FOR VIOLATING COVID -19 SOP's.
Drive against the violators will be continued throughout the District as the Kathua Police challaned 35 violators with a fine of Rs. 12500/- for violating the COVID-19 SOP's in the area.
Local inhabitants of the area appreciated the action of Kathua Police.
