KATHUA, 26 JULY: In continuation to its "War On Drugs" Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh R C Kotwal-JKPS today arrested 01 criminal i.e kingpin of a drug racket and recovered 14 grams of heroin like contraband near Lakadsandha Kathua alongwith his 03 associates were arrested.*
*On 26.07.2021a police team led by SHO P/S Kathua Insp. Om Parkash Chib under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kathua Sh. Shammi Kumar-JKPS conducted a raid at Ward No. 12 Lakadsandha kathua and apprehended four suspicious persons including one kingpin of drug racket.On thorough checking approx. 14 grams of Heroin like contraband was recovered from the possession of four accused namely Jagwinder Singh @pappy S/o Jagjit Singh R/o Ward No. 11 alongwith his three associates were arrested namely 1. Gurpreet @babal S/o Harbhajan Singh 2. Gurvinder Singh @koki S/o Harbhajan Singh both R/o Ward No. 12 3.Amandeep Singh @fandi S/o Lt. Amlok Singh Ward No. 11Kathua.Thereafter all the recovered material was seized and arrested all the four persons involved. In Police action a case vide FIR No. 348/2021 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Kathua and started further investigation into the case.*
