Jammu: Based on the specific inputs regarding drug peddling, several nakas were laid at different locations by Jammu Police. On one such naka led by SHO PS Bakshi Nagar Inspr Ravi Kant assisted by I/C PP Sarwal SI Yougal Kishore and PSI Satyajeet Singh at Toph Naka whereby police teams of PP Sarwal rounded up a suspect namely Amil Malik
S/o Muneer Ahmed R/o New plot. On search, 4.9 grams of heroin was recovered from him.

On this 135 /2021 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act got registered at PS Bakshi Nagar and the accused got arrested.The overall arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
