May 23:Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police alongwith civil authorities destroyed poppy cultivation spread over vast area of land in different areas of Langate.

A joint team of Police along with officials of Excise Department and Executive Magistrate Langate destroyed illegal poppy cultivation spread over vast area of land in different areas of Langate.

Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt strictly under law.```
